Goodwill Employee
Follows Own Advice
Jarrod Hootman of Cedar Rapids describes working at Mt. Mercy College as a great experience!
As one of the team members from Goodwill of the Heartland, Jarrod washes dishes in the kitchen and cleans up the cafeteria at Mt. Mercy during breakfast hours. Jarrod said loading and unloading the dishwasher in the dish room is his favorite task.
Jarrod balances two part-time jobs each week. Frequent shoppers at the Goodwill store may recognize Jarrod from his part-time work at the Marion Goodwill store.
His recommendation to job seekers is “to show up as scheduled, follow instructions and work hard.” Jarrod makes a practice of following his own advice. |
